Mining is good for jobs, good for communities and good for New South Wales. That’s the key message of a new campaign recently launched by the NSW Minerals Council to highlight the tens of thousands jobs created by, or related to, the New South Wales mining industry.
NSW Minerals Council CEO Stephen Galilee said it takes a lot of people in a lot of jobs to keep mines going in New South Wales – thousands of people in thousands of jobs right across the state, including thousands of people working in Sydney.
